Clear Cell ameloblastic carcinoma

Abstract
The odontogenic carcinoma are classified as primary intraosseous carcinoma, maligant ameloblastoma, ameloblastic carcinoma by WHO definition, Elzay, Slootwig.
The Ameloblastic carcinoma is very rare odontogenic malignant tumor in the jaw, and it is described as an ameloblastoma in which there is histologic evidence of malignancy in the primary or metastatic tumor. It's clinical mainifestations are
pain,
swelling, ulceration, and rapid growth.
The treatment of ameloblastic carcinoma is local wide excision and meticulous follow-up, because recurrence and metastasis have been reported in the lung and cervical lymph node.
The clear may contain large amount of cytoplasmic glycogen and abnormal complement of subcellular organelles, contain little or no cytoplasmic glycogen and few organelles, or appear clear as a result of fixation artifact. But the role of clear
cell
in
the ameloblastic carcinoma on the malignancy is still obscure.
We present ameloblastic carcinoma of palate whitch contains clear cell in 55-year-old man.
